The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Release Date Revealed

Zelda’s next adventure is landing on Nintendo’s home console! A new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been released, giving fans a look at the console gameplay.

The Zelda series has become a trademark of Nintendo, creating games for both Wii and the Nintendo DS. Players have grown up with the series, and now they’re gearing up for Skyward Sword. The game will be released for the Wii U on Nov. 15, and has many great features. The Link Awakening is an augmented reality title that offers the Link’s Awakening, and to go along with it, Skyward Sword offers the same game.

Skyward Sword also offers a new overworld map that gives players more freedom to move around. The overworld offers more possible paths than in previous games, making this game fun and different than before. The game allows for online play, and uses the HD Rumble to enhance the game.

Receiving broadcasts when my app is in background

I’m having a problem when I want to receive broadcasts (NOT local broadcast) when my app is in the background.
I’ve read a lot of SO questions regarding this issue but no one of them helped me.
The case: I’m trying to receive a broadcast sent from a device location manager when the device is in the background. It’s not the local broadcast which are sent for push notifications and other similar uses.
This is my current code:

Why does not PCA or MFA give enough predictive power?

TODO: Consider posting a separate question on why (if it is a sound practice or not) do we use PCA or MFA to explain the variability of the data we have in hand, instead of using something simpler.
Let me motivate why I think these methods don’t give as much predictive power as you might expect. Consider a simple sample of $k$ observations drawn i.i.d. from a multivariate normal distribution. So, we have
$$Y_i \sim \mathcal{N} (\mu, \Sigma) \quad \text{for } i=1,\dots,k$$
where $\mu$ is a vector of $p$ mean values and $\Sigma$ is a $p\times p$ positive-definite matrix. Applying MFA is very simple. Indeed, we take as explanatory variables the columns of $\Sigma$, and fit the mean values by just linearly interpolating the columns of $\Sigma$.
It seems intuitive that the method would be able to explain the variability almost completely, say, around 98% of the variability, if the sample size is large enough. That is, as long as we have enough (sufficient) explanatory variables, we should be able to explain almost all of the variability of the sample. Asking for more seems like a red herring.
Yet, if we apply PCA we essentially find that only a small number of (approximately 10 to 15, depending on $p$) principal components explain almost all of the variability of the sample. And even if we combine MFA with PCA, we lose a fair amount of predictive power. More specifically, we have
